Some fruits require extensive preparation, such as peeling and cutting, but if you're trying to grab something quick to eat during the commute to school or work, you don't want to bother with that. Apples and pears are convenient because you can eat the peel and you don't have to cut them. Grapes are also a breeze to eat for breakfast.
